Joy Koh is a franchisee of Rockwills International Group. Established in 1995, Rockwills Group of Companies is a reputable household name in the estate planning industry in Singapore and Malaysia.

Rockwills is a pioneer in providing will-writing and custody services in the region with a track record of having drafted more than 180,000 wills over the last 20 years. Its trust business, where the company offer its services as the Trustee of family trust and as the Executor of estates, currently holds 70,000 executor and trustee appointments.

Joy is very passionate about her estate planning business and helping her clients to ensure the smooth wealth distribution upon death and minimal or no conflicts between family members. When her close friend’s brother passed away after he got engaged, he left without a Will and it was a trying period as there were conflicts between both families and huge costs of legal fees spent.

She experienced the anguish and frustration of family members left behind without proper estate planning. She was then convinced that this is a crucial part of planning and she wants to help as many clients to avoid this situation.

This experience prompted her to take up the course on estate planning with Rockwills Institute Pte Ltd’s Association Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP®) Certification Programme in 2012. This accreditation is awarded by the Society of Will Writers & Estate Planning Practitioner of the UK and Estate Planning Practitioners Limited (EPPL).

Since 2012 till now, she has been helping more than 100 clients and families in this aspect of estate planning. Being a strong believer in estate planning, she also educates public on this topic by giving talks in various organisations, and even invited to speak and share this with Financial Advisers in the Financial Planning Industry.

She is one of the top Rockwills Franchisee over the past few years since 2014.

Joy is a mother of 3 young kids. Both she and her hubby have written their Will and set up a standby trust 6 years ago. Besides estate planning, she is also involved with Couple Empowerment Programme which focuses on reliving the spark within the marriage, by being a facilitator within the programme.
